I have the garrett atx and now bought the AT Pro from Detector Power, should I have to say that is the best hobby metal detector in the market, easy to understand and useful in all terrains but I wish to have the same depth as my Garrett ATX, that could convert this detector on the best machine worldwide. This detector is as good as it gets! It takes little time to adjust and off you go detecting. It has excellent depth even in our highly mineralized soil. The gauge gives you all the information needed to find your target. I like all types of treasure hunting and it does it all. I like that it can be used in the water and is light enough to be used for hours at a time. After opening the box and getting right to detecting I haven’t been disappointed.

Easy to use and spans the gap between basic detectors and professional detectors. I have found a lot of “treasure” with my AT Pro – even in heavily trash areas with the 5×8″ coil. First time metal detector user should only use STD. MODE SET FOR COINS. It works great in this mode. Yes you will find pull tabs, caps, alum. – all detectors will! But for sure a lot of coins , I’ve been finding coins at over 10 inches. I strongly recommend the AT Pro to anyone.
